JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for creating and managing the delivery of marketing and sales materials. You must have experience creating effective sales demos, collateral, presentations and website content. You must have the ability to work closely with customers, engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your principal responsibilities will include:
Overall delivery of sales tools to aid in securing and retaining customers
Refining messaging based on market research and customer feedback
Coordinating and implementing social networking strategy
REQUIREMENTS
You have the following experience:
Minimum of 5 to 8 years relevant product marketing and corporate marketing experience in the software industry
Extensive knowledge of multimedia and social networking
Proven ability to create compelling sales aids which sales teams and customers value
EXPERTISE
You can demonstrate past successes across the following responsibilities:
Messaging and Content Development
Exceptional written and oral skills to communicate clearly complex technology solutions
Keen understanding of how to develop value-based messaging
Ability to incorporate market trends and customer feedback into messaging consistently
Market Analysis
Previous experience with market assessment and working with qualitative and quantitative data
Demonstrable proficiency working with Excel and CRM tools such as sasleforce.com to create reports and present results graphically
Ability to work with technical and business resources to deliver clear competitive profiles
Digital Marketing
Proven track record developing and producing multimedia content
Passion for social networking and deep understanding how to leverage it for B2B marketing
Industry Knowledge
Must have experience working for a high tech software company focused on B2B
Recent experience working in the data center and/or cloud computing space is very important
Grasp of the telecommunications and networking industry preferred
Past experience in the IT sector also strongly preferred
Prior experience with worldwide organizations and marketing plans high desirable
Personal Attributes
Proven track record in truly cross-functional, high-visibility roles requiring interaction across the entire company
Able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Strong attention to details
Exceptional presentation, business writing and communication skills are a must
Education
Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, or technology required, MBA preferred
