Product Marketing Manager, Social ePrize
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Product Marketing Manager, Social is focused on driving the marketing and product direction of our social offerings and services. They will be experts in our current social offerings, look for new, innovative solutions for clients that leverage social channels and capabilities, and they will be responsible for putting together go to market plans (including sales training, marketing materials, pricing, sales targets, competitive information, etc) for all social products and services. This role works with other members of the marketing team to develop content for webinars, blog posts, videos, demos and articles. On occasion, this person may also help design go to market strategies for product and services offerings outside the social arena. As the subject matter expert, the Product Manager, Social will work with our client development teams to strategize creative solutions for our clients, work with the delivery teams to ensure best practices and guidelines are known and integrated into our client work. From a product expert perspective, they will contribute to setting annual targets for social products, tracking sales activities for those products and working with the rest of the innovation team to grow the social business. This role may also be responsible for client work and ePrize marketing work such as social strategy planning, listening engagements, social media planning/buying and community management. To be successful in this role, an individual must have strong: verbal and written communication skills, strategic thinking, propensity for understanding technology and how consumers interact with it. They will also need to balance working in a collaborative team environment with a strong sense of initiative and individual accountability. Key Areas of Responsibility:
Act as category SME for the company. Providing category and product specific training for our sales teams and, when appropriate other teams.
Work directly with clients and account teams to drive the sales of new products and services through direct involvement in pitches, development of marketing materials and case studies.
Ensure consistent approach for implementing services/capabilities across the ePrize Promotions portfolio.
Perform technology due diligence on proposed product capabilities to ensure compatibility with current implementation and propose alternative approaches.
Monitor social landscape for opportunities to grow our social business.
Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to develop partnership and marketing strategy, plans, and tasks. Ability to establish strong working relationships within the client development, delivery and other functional teams is critical for success.
Meet product line and overall company goals and objectives, as driven by the business plan, and quarterly sales plans.
Consistently deliver on time, high quality work products and manage projects that maximize the effectiveness of the overall team.
This role may or may not have direct reports.
Job Specifications and Competencies:
Bachelor of Science in Business, or similar degree or related work experience
5 ? 8 years of experience in digital marketing
Unique capability for applying social media and technology to client business objectives
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to apply social media and emerging technologies to consumer and BTB marketing.
Ability to manage a social media product line.
Excellent presentation, written/verbal communication and client-facing skills.
Some travel as required (less than 25%)
