The Product Marketing Manager for Sync is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans for a new peer-
to-peer file syncing product that is in the initial stages of development and public launch.
Specific responsibilities include:
Working closely with marketing and product teams to lead the design and implementation of go-to-market
strategies for Sync
Managing the implementation of product marketing and brand marketing deliverables, based on the marketing
plans and strategies you will craft with the brand and product teams
Setting-up and reporting on metrics and analytics for your marketing activities
Being fully accountable and responsible for setting and meeting marketing objectives for Sync and other new
products in the BitTorrent portfolio
Ideal candidates will posses a strong combination of the following experience:
6+ years product marketing experience (software or internet product experience strongly preferred)
Proven track record in consumer product marketing and new product introduction
High level of proficiency in all forms of channel marketing, user acquisition and communications
Ability to translate data sets and research into actionable insights and campaigns
Proven ability to turn research and insights into strong go-to-market strategies
Ability to manage multiple projects while working under tight deadlines
Strong business, interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with BitTorrent technology and ecosystem
Growth hacking attitude
