Product Marketing Specialist MindBody Software
Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing product marketing initiatives and demand-generating online advertising campaigns for both MINDBODY and MINDBODY Exchange products.
The Product Marketing Specialist?s job also includes ensuring that the product and online advertising efforts support the company?s overall strategy and goals. Works closely with the Senior Product Marketing Manager to define the go-to-market strategy, and communicate product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. Also works with the Demand Generation Manager to ensure online advertising is generating leads.
About the Job:
Product Marketing (80%)
Drive and manage product marketing campaigns and initiatives within the organization for all MINDBODY and MINDBODY Exchange Products
Create a product marketing plan in partnership with Senior Product Marketing Manager and Sr. Director of Marketing; set KPIs for marketing launches and closely track performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded
Research marketing opportunities to increase mobile app adoption; put together recommendations and plans for product marketing initiatives
Work closely with other marketing staff to track the effectiveness of product marketing efforts
Manage product marketing projects from concept to completion, leading brainstorming sessions, writing creative briefs and ensuring communication plans are clear and effective
Manage projects to a budget; ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget and that all key stakeholders are given an opportunity to review materials prior to launch
Work closely with Sr. Director of Marketing and other marketing staff to coordinate copywriting and graphic design for product marketing projects
Generate demand for products; work closely with Demand Generation Manager to set goals for product adoption and monitor results; report regularly on product launch and product marketing results
Online Advertising (20%)
Assist with the coordination and implementation of MINDBODY?s online advertising efforts, including pay-per-click, display, and social media advertising.
Work closely with other marketing staff to track and report on the effectiveness of our online advertising efforts.
Assist Demand Generation Manager on additional projects, as assigned.
BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, PR or a related field of study.
Excellent presentation skills, can comfortably present to an audience.
At least two years? experience in a marketing or communications environment and familiarity with branding and marketing best practices.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with social media/social networking a plus.
Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
Strong understanding of a B2B marketing environment.
