Overview:The Product and Quality Analyst (PAQA) is a member of a highly collaborative 4-person product delivery team which develops new software functionality for customers.
The PAQA works with team members to design, develop, and test software functionality. The PAQA also interacts with other employees across the company to gather research, confirm requirements, and provide training.
The PAQA analyzes business challenges from customers and helps the team develop and prioritize work that will solve the challenges. The PAQA - working with the team - determines the acceptance criteria the software must meet before delivery to customers. This includes verifying functional behavior, filing defects, and ensuring the resolution of defects.
Additionally, the PAQA will sometimes write documents to help both internal and external customers adopt and use the software.
Principal Responsibilities:
Maintain detailed understanding of customer business processes, problems, and desired solutions
Define and document business scenarios for new functionality
Coordinate creation of feature and user documentation
Drive software quality process
Manage technical information for development team
Write and execute product test plans and test scripts
Assists with preparation of product release notes and documentation
Engage stakeholders across the company to provide information and training specific to product development
Ensure the quality, reliability and completeness of software
Position Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with past successes in working across organizations to implement large-scale projects
Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to balance multiple ongoing responsibilities and appropriately communicate issues
Strong documentation, oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Experience in software testing
Experience with automated testing tools preferred
Bachelor's degree or related experience preferred
Travel 5%-10%
