Overview:
The Product Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for the sales team on Talyst?s AutoPharm? and AutoPack? product lines, including inventory management, packaging, labeling and all hardware and software. Support the sales cycle process and engage in workflow design and professional consulting for current and new customers.

Act as the overall product expert on current and future Talyst products including hardware and software aspects.
Act as an internal product specialist and technical resource for Product Development, Customer Support, Field Service, Installation, and Sales.
Develop first hand relationships with customers to understand business models, pain points and other pertinent data to develop service solutions and a professional consulting approach while leveraging Talyst product offerings and technology.
Participate in pre-sales teleconferences and webinars as a ?product expert? and participate in the transition call from sales to implementation.
Own the workflow design for product assimilation and implementation into customers business sites.
Effectively present demonstrations of Talyst products to potential clients and answer questions at an in-depth clinical and technical level.
Provide input to the Product Development group related to product features and requirements.
Transfer product knowledge to and work with customer support teams for maintaining current and future product.
Support and promote the Talyst values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
Attend to other initiatives and goals as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
BS/BA preferred, CPhT a plus;
3+ years pharmacy workflow experience and 2+ years direct experience with pharmacy automation
Direct experience with pharmacy automation a major plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially skilled at public speaking and giving dynamic presentations.
Able to provide technical vision towards future product directions
Able to communicate clearly with customers in simplified terms and translate technical material.
Able to perform under numerous deadlines and priorities.
Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and other common office tools.
Ability to travel 75% of the time
Experience working in a goal oriented, delivery focused, and dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Corporate travel may be required up to 75% of the time, to client sites, remote offices or other business meetings and events.
