Product Specialist - GFI Cloud GFI Software

The Product Specialist is responsible for generating revenue for GFI Software by closing sales at defined monthly quotas, while meeting activity targets and ensuring Partner and Customer satisfaction. The position contacts prospects, customers and partners as well as responding to incoming calls and emails in an effort to increase revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sell and service accounts via phone and email, direct and through channel partners. Take incoming calls from prospects responding to sales inquiries; make out-bound calls to facilitate sales.
Minimum of 40 outbound calls daily to business prospects and accounts.
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of GFI Cloud Services, technologies, competitive products and technologies, and industry trends.
Follow up on leads and opportunities daily; contact and up sell existing customers on GFI Cloud service suite.
Maintain an accurate Territory pipeline using Salesforce.com.
Maintain accurate call logs, contact details, and email communication inside of SalesForce.com
Develop business relationships with Partners.
Engage in technical sales discussions with potential clients via conference call or web demonstration; leveraging Sales Engineering resources where needed. This resource requires scheduling as well as briefing the SE prior to the call. All Partner and Customer conferences are to be clearly documented in Salesforce.com.
Submit quotes to customers and prospects as needed using the GFI online ordering tool, and prepare, submit sales orders via the designated process.
Work to maintain high level of customer satisfaction by assisting with customer requests, complaints, and escalations
Attend sales meetings, training sessions as required. On occasion, these sales meetings are held during non-business hours including weekends.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Proficiency and knowledge of MS Office, CRM, Outlook
Excellent phone/ email /customer service skills.
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Hours are according to region needs and may include some Holidays
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with and handle confidential information including credit card transactions.
Education / Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience in sales, sales support, or technical support role
Basic understanding of territory management (planning, prospecting, and closing) preferred.
