Product Specialist Derivix
Responsibilities:
- Main point of contact for customer relationships. May also play a role in customer support.
- Successful candidates have proven track records in going the extra mile to create and maintain outstanding customer relationships.
- Provide expert-level knowledge and proficiency on the companys products and services. Communicate product strategy.
- Work closely with our Managing Director, Head of Sales and other sales team members to gather requirements, prepare and conduct product demonstrations and presentations, write proposals, and help to close new business.
- Work with customers to scope, plan and deliver product integration projects.
- Manage numerous customer sales, integration and support projects at once.
- Record and maintain all customer interactions, product issues and client feature requests in companys CRM database.
- Be Product Managements eyes and ears in the field, communicating client product and feature requests. Collaborate with Product Management on design of future products and enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 - 10 years of options industry experience. Relevant experience includes (but is not limited to) product consulting, sales/sales support, project management or technology roles within an options-specific financial software firm; OR options trading or portfolio risk management roles within a financial institution.
- Requires the ability to converse with options traders in their own terms, familiarity with trading and pricing models including binomial and Black Scholes. Familiarity with risk management and options execution a plus.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter with strong problem solving, verbal and written communications skills. The person in this role will spend significant amounts of time working hands-on with the software and closely with the salespeople and client prospects. Verbal and presentation skills are critically important.
- Strong technical skills - even though this is a pre-sales position, the candidate must be very tech savvy and technically self-sufficient.
- Strong ability to map clients business and technology requirements to practical product capabilities. Product/user interface design skills are a plus.
- Understand the competitive offering landscape in the market and be able to demonstrate our softwares unique value proposition.
- Polished and professional demeanor. Strong customer interaction skills. Integrity, sound judgment, energy and a sense of urgency
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Education:
Demonstrated high academic achievement resulting in a BA or BS degree. MBA a plus.
