Job Summary: Provide clinical/technical product support for sales demonstrations of our robotic telecommunications systems to ensure that sales demos run smoothly; contribute to effective customer service by providing ongoing product/technical support at customer sites, including product installation, customer training and preventative maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)
Provide clinical and technical product support for sales demonstrations.
Perform wireless network audits of customer sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with system.
Manage equipment transport, setup, and demonstrations.
Implement product installation and training at customer sites.
Manage ongoing product and technical support at customer sites.
Conduct follow-on training and in-servicing of hospital customers.
Interface with physicians, hospital executives, IT staff and other personnel.
Promote adoption, utilization and expansion of product at customer sites.
Partner with corporate and field staff to develop training materials.
Work closely with sales force in support of sales.
Conduct customer validation of products.
Take off-hour calls, for 1 week every quarter.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
Experience with wireless networks, set up and configuration.
Prior work experience in hospital environment a plus.
Ability to perform basic computer hardware component level replacement desired.
Must be able to meet standard requirements by various vendor clearance agencies used by customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
Degree in discipline relating to engineering, computer science or IT.
CCNA designation highly desired.
Experience: 1-2 years experience in healthcare field with background in technical sales support, project management and coordination, healthcare IT or wireless infrastructure desired.
Working Conditions (The environment in which the job is performed, outside a normal office environment):
Field based from home office.
Must be able to move/transport robots, weighing over 200 lbs. with wheeled assistance.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
Up to 75% travel in assigned region required.
