Product Specialist - San Francisco MuleSoft

Responsible for supporting the sale of MuleSoft products by providing technical support on all customer and product-related activities. Duties include working with customers to assess technical requirements, design and develop customized solutions as needed, configure MuleSoft products to meet the customers' needs, debug and test products and provide training to customers on MuleSoft solutions; supporting the Sales team by developing technical product materials as well as product demonstration and training materials; delivering technical sales presentations on upcoming technologies; providing technical assistance with the installation and the use of our products; acting as the subject-matter expert on MuleSoft products to respond to and resolve any technical product-related issues regarding architecture, technology selection and code development; and providing our engineer teams with recommendations on improvements to our current products as well as providing input on new product roadmap based on feedback from customers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering/Applications or a related field
- Three (3) years of experience as a Product Specialist/Engineer, Technical/Software Consultant, Systems Analyst or in a related occupation; OR,
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering/Applications or a related field and five (5) years of experience as a Product Specialist/Engineer, Technical/Software Consultant, Systems Analyst or in a related occupation in lieu of a MS/equiv. + 3 yrs. of exp.
- Experience with Java, Tomcat, Spring, Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), Websphere and Maven required.
