Overview:
The Product Support Specialist will assist with the operations of the Product Support department. The department as a whole is responsible for providing employee and client assistance with the usage of all software applications developed by iCrossing. Its goal is to provide concise, accurate, and timely responses to all support requests for any
product. In addition, the manager will work closely with Product Development, Product Management, and Operations Teams to provide feedback from a user
perspective regarding current issues and future needs.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with product development, engineering and operations teams as required
Work with clients to customize the applications to suit their needs
Provide implementation strategies to achieve client goals
Directly assist clients in the implementation of our products
Develop and enforce best practices for application usage and deployment
Provide support for deployment of the applications
Fulfill ad-hoc report requests using SQL (MySQL & PostgreSQL)
Create run basic linux scripts via command line
Assist other departments w/ development and testing when applicable
Assist co-workers and clients with application usage and training
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge/Technical
Skills:
Strong SQL query writing skills
Knowledge of principles and techniques used in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and web analytics
3+ years Linux/Unix
Basic HTML and Javascript writing
Google Adwords and Yahoo! Search Ambassador certifications preferred
Abilities:
Must have effective oral and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate challenging or technical concepts
Provide fast, courteous, and accurate responses to prioritized requests in a fast paced environment
Strong troubleshooting skills using SQL, TCP/IP, HTML and Javascript
