Job Description:
WideOrbit is looking for a motivated and experienced support specialist for our new software package ? WO Media Sales. WO Media Sales is a software solution that allows sales professionals to analyze ratings and intelligently target their approaches for selling time slots to advertisers. The WO Media Sales Product Support Specialist must have a proven track-record in the television or radio industry, possess excellent communication skills, and be eager to learn and grow with a fast-paced team.
Here?s what You?ll Do:
Help users with how-to questions regarding use of WO Media Sales
Identify and document software defects and requests for enhancements
Provide information regarding customer needs to engineering and marketing
Work with team to develop product support infrastructure
Perform other tasks as assigned
Reports to the Director of Product Support
Skills/Qualifications:
2+ years of experience at a television or radio station within a sales department is strongly preferred.
Experience with advertising/media sales proposals and stewardship applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially over the telephone.
Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new software.
Experience using web based applications and comfortable with learning and using new technologies.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and balance competing tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Proficiency in MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Outstanding communication, problem-solving, follow-up, and organizational skills.
Location:
This position is based at an office in Birmingham, AL and may require you be available until 7:30pm CST most evenings.
Compensation:
The compensation will include a salary that will depend on experience along with benefits and options.
