Position: Product Trainer
Reports to: Training Manager
Summary: As a member of the Product Management team, the Trainer works closely with Product Managers, Account Management, Solutions, Documentation and Implementation. The trainer will identify training needs and design training in support of Operative?s software and Services. The Trainer must be able to understand and effectively communicate best practices in the use of Operative?s platform. Ideal candidates will have experience working with publishers, agencies, or technology providers for online advertising, CRM, or related software applications. Candidates should be comfortable in a client-facing role and have a demonstrated ability to confidently provide training to all levels of personnel within our customers? organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Stay current with Operative software
Develop and maintain training collateral in support of Operative?s solutions
Understand and be able to articulate the business solutions that Operative provides to its users
Work with the Training Manager on the development and implementation of a certification plan for new employees, consultants and customers
Engage with the Solutions team to plan, schedule, design, and deliver Operative training to geographically dispersed end- users in person and remotely
Work with the Product Management team to understand Operative functionality and new features
Engage with the Account Management team to deliver training and coaching to existing customers
Develop training collateral and deliver training on newly released features internally to Account Management, Solutions, Sales, Sales Engineers and Implementation teams
Develop presentation and demo scripts for delivering new feature presentations to customer users via GoToMeeting
Required Skills & Experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute multi-day training
At least 5 years of corporate training experience
Skilled in the use of PowerPoint, Captivate, and similar tools
GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar a plus
Experience in some aspect of advertising (publisher, agency, technology provider) a plus
Proven ability to engage a learning audience!
Ability to occasionally work unusual hours to accommodate remote training needs in various time zones (India, Australia, UK, Brazil)
Must be willing to travel approx. 40% of the time
