As a member of the Professional Services team, the Product Trainer works under the guidance of the Senior Training Manager. Training works closely with Solution Consultants and Architects, Client Partners, Support, and Implementation to design and deliver training in support of Operative?s software and Services.
The Trainer must be able to understand and effectively communicate how our customers are to use the Operative.One platform. Ideal candidates will have experience working with publishers, agencies, or technology providers for online advertising, CRM, or related software applications. Candidates should be comfortable in a client-facing role and have a demonstrated ability to confidently provide training to all levels of personnel within our customers? organizations. The ideal candidates also have experience developing and administering Certification programs with the use of an LMS or similar tool.
The person in this role will be a member of a passionate, highly motivated team, in a fast-paced company, and is a part of an ever-evolving industry. Candidates should be able to successfully balance multiple projects, be excited to work on a team, and have a passion to learn and contribute.
Work cross-functionally to schedule, design, and deliver Operative training to geographically dispersed end-users in person and remotely
Understand and be able to articulate the business solutions that Operative provides to its users
Stay current with Operative software development
Work with Training Team on the development of client-facing training series
Develop training collateral and deliver training on newly released features to Operative internal groups
Develop presentation and demo scripts for delivering new feature presentations to customer users via GoToMeeting
Work with the Training Team on the development and implementation of a certification plan for new employees, consultants and customers
Develop and maintain training collateral in support of Operative?s solutions
At least 5 years of corporate or software training experience
Successful cross-functional collaboration
Excellent presentation skills including presenting with a projector, room control, managing remote attendees
Demonstrate ability to plan and execute multi-day, multi-location training
Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint
Proficiency with Captivate, Outlook, OneNote, Windows, Excel, and similar tools
Proven ability to engage a learning audience
Must be willing and able to travel approx. 40% of the time, domestically and internationally
Ability to occasionally work unusual hours to accommodate remote training needs in various time zones (India, Australia, Europe, Brazil)
Preferred Skills & Experience
GoToWebinar or similar
Experience in some aspect of advertising (publisher, agency, or technology provider)
