Position Summary
The Product Trainer provides training to Ellie Mae's clients. The Product Trainer is responsible all aspects of each training project; from initial client contact, to training delivery, and final communications and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide onsite and web-based training of Ellie Mae's software products
Manage all aspects of assigned training projects; including client contact and coordination prior to the engagement, setting up the training session, training delivery, validation of the clients? understanding of the material delivered, and follow-up communication with the client and Ellie Mae team members.
Participate in continuous improvement of training programs by conducting post-training satisfaction surveys and providing feedback and recommendations to the training manager and course developers.
Maintain current expertise and knowledge of the mortgage industry and all Ellie Mae product offerings
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 5 years mortgage banking or banking experience with exposure to all aspects of the industry. (required)
Experience training enterprise software solutions, particularly in the mortgage industry (strongly desired)
Excellent client management skills; including ensuring that training meets the client's specific needs, problems and issues are quickly resolved, and all work is completed to the client's satisfaction (required)
Ability to work independently and manage and prioritize own workload (required)
Strong project management skills; including status reporting, project documentation, issue resolution, time management, and communication with manager and project team members. (required)
Must be able to travel within the US up to 50% of the time (required)
Experience using Encompass360 mortgage management software a big plus
Certification in ASTD training programs a plus
Bachelor of Arts or Business Management degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent certifications and experience
