SilkRoad is seeking a self-motivated Product Trainer to train new and existing customers to meet the needs of our growing user base. This is a high visibility position with responsibility for instructing both customers and internal team members of varying levels and working as part of a team to design and develop new courses and documentation. The Product Trainer can work remotely, but candidates will preferably be located near a major international airport.
Candidates will be expected to:
Conduct formal instructor led classes both onsite and online to a wide variety of audiences for the SilkRoad LifeSuite of products;
Develop and update course material for new and existing company products, solutions, and services in a collaborative team environment using instructional design methodologies;
Develop and instruct customized instructor-led and webinar courses as required for internal, partner and customer audiences;
Develop and maintain online learning course library;
Deliver professional customer service to all current and potential clients.

Required Skills
Facilitation/Presentation skills or related experience such as prior experience delivering and developing IT training;
Teaching-oriented skills with the ambition and drive to help others;
Professional interpersonal customer service skills;
Superior written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent judgment and problem solving skills;
Ability to rapidly acquire a thorough knowledge of Company products;
Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment;
Ability to creatively use resources and rapidly adjust to changes;
Work independently with minimal supervision, but also in a team environment;
Strong computer and software skills; proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to travel as required, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual in any of the following: French, Spanish, Japanese or Chinese.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate adult training, including technical training experience;
Demonstrated professional public speaking and presentation skills;
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in the Human Resources field;
PHR or SPHR Certification.
