Description
The Dotomi Production Artist (PA) is responsible primarily for all aspects of creative production ? such as lookup table creation, text editing, image cropping and resizing, testing using the creative test tool (CTT), and the resizing of approved designs into the various ad sizes as needed including animation/coding. The PA collaborates closely with an internal cross functional team to meet client campaign objectives and complete deliverables to standard.
Essential Job Functions/Activities
Production Execution - Deliver consistently great execution of production work. Understand and adhere to client brand guidelines, successfully interact with designers, client integration engineers, clients and other design firms/agencies to deliver all assets (Intelligent Ads?, resized design/images/Flash, Lookup tables, hosted or scraped images, pitches, etc) to Dotomi spec, troubleshoot issues. 50%
Proactive Prioritization & Strong Coordination with Studio Resources - Ability to prioritize work, take a proactive approach towards designers/Flash in gaining/understanding the work and handling multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines to standard. Ability to work well with dependant resources: Flash, designers, client integration engineers, Account Managers, etc. 35%
Production Efficiency & Automation ? Analyze work process and apply improvements to the process to gain efficiency, cut production time and improve quality of deliverables. 5%
Technical Proficiency & Industry knowledge ? Demonstrate proficiency in production tools (CS3/4, Flash, Photoshop, Excel, PPT) Exhibit understanding of production processes and latest trends in production processes/online specific. 5%
Subject Matter Expertise ? Demonstrate proficiency in Dotomi/Domain product and testing results knowledge and apply it to client implementations using the Dotomi platform. 5%
Other Marginal Job Functions/Activities
Special projects ? approximately 5% of time spent, prioritized after key functions
Minimum Job Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional to support the needs of the Creative StudioTeam at Dotomi. A strong candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
Education: Associates degree
Years of Experience: minimum 3, preferred 5+
Specific Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Design/production experience
Online experience
A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Strong Design Portfolio ? production related
A grasp of resolution/dpi, raster, vector, file weight and other related digital imaging concepts
High attention to detail and excellent execution, specific excellence in handling typography
Discipline at keeping files organized, a fast learner, the capacity to handle many clients, and thrive in a fast-paced, production environment
Excellent Project Management and problem solving skills
Proven ability to work in a team environment and take direction well
Desired:
Copywriting training or expertise
Additional pluses: previous work experience in multimedia field; a degree (or working towards a degree) in Design/Media-Arts/Animation/Multimedia/copywriting or an equivalent program
