Solid sense of both print and interaction design, adapted to UI and websites

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, create, and produce print and viral designs for the company, specifically business cards, websites, brochures, presentation materials, email blasts, Flash banner ads, and marketing promotions.
Develop on-going assets for use by the marketing and sales team, including but not limited to graphics for the website, collateral, animatics, presentations, etc. to create high-quality design deliverables that align with brand and usablity strategy.
Creates designs and user-experience artifacts in conjunction with the product design groups User Interface (UI) needs.
Prepare illustrations, draw and print charts, graphs and other artwork, using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as Keynote or PowerPoint.
Ensure design quality, standards consistency, brand alignment, and usability, through the creation and upkeep of Style Guides.
Ensure currency of design approaches through on-going awareness of industry trends relevant to design and the user experience.
Work with the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing to manage outside contractors when needed in implementing guidelines on projects

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in visual design field
1-3 years of experience
Strong clear visual design skills which span iconography, web layouts, print collateral, and exhibit applications
Ability to rapidly create initial design directions before refining the chosen layout
Exceptional communication skills written, verbal and the ability to work across teams
Understanding of cloud computing and web application hosting
Ability to work with Marketers, Developers, Web Client team and the company team members
Excellent facility with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Open Office, Keynote, and Powerpoint
Bonus if you have experience with WordPress
