Responsibilities
Production Artist is responsible for the creation of all mechanical print-ready digital files and their organization and delivery to printers, manufacturers, licensing and marketing partners, magazine publications, trade shows, sales presentations, and advertising media.

The primary responsibility of this position is building final art files in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In Design and Adobe Acrobat. Production Artist will receive and organize illustrations from artists around the world. Production Artist coordinate closely with printers and the Traffic Coordinator on schedules to ensure delivery of final art files and will provide proofs to the Traffic Coordinator for departmental signature approvals.

In addition, the Production Artist will be called upon to create layouts, manipulate graphics files, retouch and rearrange Photoshop illustrations and provide graphic design support to the Graphic Designer as needed. Production artist works with creative direction from the Art Director and reports to the Director of Production.

Experience & Skill Set- Candidate will have-

- Minimum two years industry experience as a print production artist using Adobe Creative Suite 3 or above in Mac environment.
- Deep knowledge and mastery of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- Strong critical visual skills.
- Strong technical software and graphics skills.
- Been responsible for file organizing and version tracking large number of files in a corporate server environment.
- Worked with tight deadlines under changing production and marketing needs.
- Strong visual language skills- layout, design, typography, composition, color, lighting, and basic representational illustration skills.
