OpportunityHealthline is searching for a production assistant to join its editorial team in an exciting new position. The Production Assistant will be charged with overseeing the production and maintenance of original content using our custom content management system.
This position reports to the Editorial Director, Content Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Healthline Editorial
As a member of the editorial team, participate in global editorial strategy and planning
Produce all original content and fix any issues on the site using our in-house content management system
Copy edit and identify any issues with existing and new content on Healthline.com
Work across multiple departments to support new initiatives (social, SEO, content marketing, sales, and design)
Identify and leverage synergies between the content production processes for multiple brands (Healthline, Yahoo Health, HealthAhead, etc.)
Track and report on onsite content performance and make recommendations for improvements
Key Qualifications
1-2 years experience in digital editorial management and production; experience in lifestyle, health and medical content preferred
Absolute highest standards of editorial integrity, grounded in a solid understanding of content creation as a business
Professional copyediting skills desired
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Ability to quickly master internal processes of production
Results oriented, and self-motivated
Exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude
Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented
BA/BS in English or a related field
