Production Data Analyst MedVentive
Job Summary
The Production Data Analyst will execute all production tasks to load client data into MedVentive?s client data warehouses and subsequently refresh client production systems from the updated data warehouses. The analyst will follow set production processing steps of all clients they are responsible for in the agreed upon timelines for each client. When production processing issues arise, this role will be the first line of problem resolution and if not able to resolve issue independently, the Production Data Analyst will escalate the issue to production support staff or other teams to do further investigation and problem resolution.
The Production Data Analyst will work with other members of the Production Team to add quality checks wherever possible ? to insure the quality of the client systems being refreshed, as well as looking for areas to gain efficiencies and automation. The Production Data Analyst will work closely with Production Support Analyst to resolve issues as well as members of the Development Team and Implementation team.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with internal staff in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable performing routine production processing as well as delving into client data and internal processes to determine, isolate and resolve production processing issues. This position requires a detail-oriented person with strong analytic skills, and the ability to clearly articulate issues to others (orally and/or in writing). Plus have the ability to multitask and manage more then one production client at any given time.
Primary Responsibilities
Ongoing execution of production processes to process and load newly received client data into client data warehouses and out to the client's online system.
Work with the Production Support Analyst to resolve and re-execute all escalated production processing issues.
Work with the Implementation Analyst and developers to isolate, resolve, and prevent future production processing issues.
Maintain data quality processes to insure continuous improvements.
May be assigned to or manage small to medium-size projects that are related to the streamlining, automating or improvement of the production processing environment.
Gain a thorough understanding of the entire production processing environment from client data file reception through data loading, and out to client's systems.
May be called on to coordinate with the offshore refresh team for any necessary tasks and work flow changes or problem resolution follow-up.
May work with clients in resolving data issues.
Work with other areas, such as implementation, development, and QA, to assure the clients? needs are met.
Qualifications
Bachelors? degree, preferably with a computer science-related major.
Experience with healthcare data a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven analytic ability and problem-solving skills.
Ability to diagnose, research and resolve technical/data issues independently or as a cooperative member of a team.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines while providing quality results.
Experience with Web-based applications, including knowledge of various operating systems and application servers.
Ability to clearly articulate issues and resolutions and track them using MedVentive?s CRM tracking tool.
Working knowledge of SQL or other database query tools.
Experience with an integration/interface engine or ETL tools a plus.
