Position Responsibilities:A. Support manufacturing operations.
1.
Provide engineering support in the form of process development, product testing, tooling and fixtures and process troubleshooting.
2.
Develop and execute test plans to characterize the performance of standard products.
3.
Review production test plans and implement improvements in procedures for testing and data collection methods.
4.
Make product improvements based on analytical and empirical data, sales and marketing input, and company strategies.
B. Assist with the manufacture of custom products.
1.
Improve existing manufacturing processes for repeat product orders.
2.
Provide engineering, design and manufacturing support for custom bearings, parts, assemblies and projects.
3.
Design and document manufacturing processes for custom products.
4.
Perform tests and document performance results for manufacturing processes of custom parts.
5.
Analyze test data and identify opportunities to further improve manufacturing processes.
C. Maintain strong business relationships with customers, vendors and colleagues to meet business goals.
1.
Serve as a liaison between manufacturing and engineering and customers.
2.
Ensure that all procedures, policies, correspondence and business relationships adhere to ethical and legal standards and conform to company policies and objectives.
