We are currently seeking a Production Engineer to be responsible for the successful execution of media production services. Includes management of production personnel, scheduling and customer coordination, production coordination and logistics to ensure the proper equipment, personnel and resources are allocated in support of customer productions. The Production manager oversees all aspects of production, including audio and video production, multi-camera switched event production, lighting, staging, projection, transmissions, venue coordination and crew scheduling. The Production manager will provide television production, streaming media and audiovisual support of media services operations. Qualified candidates must be proficient with a wide range of technologies related to professional audio and video production, streaming media, and audiovisual operations support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage media services personnel, contractors, and suppliers
Production coordination of large scale, high profile television broadcasts and corporate events
Produce video programs from concept to completion, managing creative development, preproduction, production, post production, and delivery
Field ENG/EFP, including camera operation, lighting and field audio.
Management of multi-camera switched shoots and studio productions
Event management and logistics, to include audio and video production, lighting, staging, projection and transmissions
Crew and equipment resource scheduling
Streaming media encoding, digital video editing and digital asset management
Nonlinear video editing
DVD authoring and duplication
Write and update standard operating procedures, processes, lessons learned and best practices.
Research state-of-the-art equipment, emerging technologies and industry trends
Advise and recommend equipment purchases to ensure York Telecom stays on the leading edge
Ensure that quality expectations are achieved, standard operating procedures are followed, and production costs are within budget.
Management reporting, job cost analysis, and resource utilization analysis
Backfill other team members, as needed
Knowledge of and adherence to York Telecom policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Technical expertise in a broad range of state-of-the-art production equipment
Solid understanding of television production fundamentals
Experience with audio production and live sound reinforcement fundamentals
Knowledge of satellite transmissions fundamentals
Skilled in the setup and operation of a wide variety of audiovisual equipment
Familiarity with streaming media and digital media formats and encoding
Experience switching multi-camera or multi-source video programs
Education & Qualifications
3 - 5 years experience providing broadcast production and media services.
Bachelors degree in broadcast production or related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficiency with Internet applications (e.g., Web browsers, FTP client, social media tools)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent walking, standing, and sitting
May require stooping and crouching.
Ability to successfully pass a mandatory background check
Domestic and international travel may be required.
Evening or weekend hours may be required
