Production Operations Specialist - Customer Success Apigee
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Apigee is seeking a Production Operations Specialist within the Apigee Customer Success team who will be responsible for our production, staging, development and lab environments, including backup, high-availability setup, system monitoring and alerts, patch levels, intrusion detection. The Production Operations Specialist possesses hands-on experience developing operational based tools, open-source infrastructure systems with an eye on automation.

- Developing tools to improve efficiency of operational tasks
- Developing and implementing backup and replication strategies for
multiple types of databases
- Participating in product development
- Leveraging current and cutting edge technologies while testing bleeding edge
technologies for future use
- Supporting and building upon system automation, deployment, and continuous integration
- Developing auto recovery tools that are monitor driven
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to mobile applications development and
- Scaling our platform as we grow and maintaining documentation on operations

- The attitude of a self-starter, thriving in a fast pace environment
- Full development lifecycle experience
- Hands-on knowledge of open source technologies
- Sound programming fundamentals with a passion for elegant code
- Experience scaling web applications
- Experience managing web servers
- Experience with relational (MySQL and Postgres) and/or non-relational database technologies
- Track record developing Ops related tools
- Experience with continuous integration tools
- Experience with system automation and deployment tools
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving application and system related issues
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to conduct technical discussions in English
