Suniva is seeking a Production Planner at our Norcross, GA corporate headquarters. This position will be responsible for execution of all production planning activities, inventory control, and related issues such as on-time delivery.
Production Scheduling ? Create production schedule in Oracle and process all Work in Process transactions. Maintain all MRP parameters and jobs in Oracle.
Plans and coordinates the flow of raw material for manufacturing.
Works with manufacturing personnel to continuously improve production to demand accuracy.
Scheduling and monitoring of Engineering / Qualification and other non-production lots
Preparation of documents to be used for non-production runs
Maintains updated manufacturing status information.
Establishes priorities and sets logistics directions for specific customer order.
Manage inventory of parts and finished goods ? including performing physical counts and reconciliation.
Systems maintenance ? Ensure current and accurate information regarding parts, suppliers, and shipment status is input and reflected in the installed ERP system (Oracle).
Notification of critical part shortages or non-conformances.
Assist material handlers with disposition of parts in rework locations.
Preparation of Manufacturing reports and presentations.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience. MBA is an advantage.
4 ? 6+ years Production planning experience using SAP or Oracle (strongly preferred)
Inventory management and manufacturing experience
Good working knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft Office tools
Ability to make presentations and communicate effectively to operations around the world.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, familiarity with financial reports, and legal documents;
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
Ability to travel.
Good oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of the organization
