Production Planner Meraki

We're looking for a Production Planner to help manage the Sales and Operations Planning process. This multi-faceted role requires analytical aptitude for drawing out demand trends across multiple information sources to help set the production plan. This person also utilizes adept problem-solving skills to manage our Asian production partners while addressing supply imbalance issues. This position will involve minor travel for QBRs.Responsibilities:
- Drive the S&OP process
- Analyze trends from several demand data sources and sales/marketing activities
- Set the monthly and quarterly purchase plans for all items/suppliers
- Leverage technology offerings to enhance forecasting and purchasing processes
- Optimize production schedule for vendors when challenges present themselves
- Leverage volume for cost optimization
- Additional procurement responsibilities are possible depending on experience
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree required, MBA or similar graduate degree is preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in high-tech operations with increasing responsibility; 2 years planning experience preferred
- Exceptional business acumen with analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a changing, growing environment
This is a six-month contractor position.
