Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be tasked with providing hands on involvement in daily operations, training, auditing, and personnel management. In addition, you will be a key player in the development of new products and processes. Your extensive knowledge of QSR/GMP requirements will help ensure our compliance with GMP standards and the Penumbra Quality System. Your understanding of general business principles will support our lean manufacturing environment. Your excellent organizational and communication skills combined with your ability to solve problems will ensure that you quickly determine effective processes and policies to support our operations while also identifying and recommending improvements to processes, policies and/or procedures. A hands on, flexible attitude is essential to this position as you communicate cross functionally to ensure that the needs for your area are met. You should understand and use software tools such as MRP, Excel, and Word to further production goals. Your prior experience should include 3-5 years of past Supervisory experience in a medical device environment that includes at least 25 builders. Ideally you will have a Bachelors degree in business, marketing or a related discipline although a high school graduate with significant customer service, sales or other relevant experience may also be considered for this role.
