The Production Support Developer is responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our data management operations.
Technical: (Strong in these areas)
SQL Server ? T-SQL/Stored Procedures
ETL Tools ? proficient in SSIS. Any other ETL tools is a PLUS.
.NET development experience with Java Scripts and VB Scripts
Good understand of FTP/SFTP architecture and protocols (decrypting, encrypting files, signing files)
DBA knowledge (experience is a PLUS and not just theoretical knowledge) - understand of service accounts, linked servers, indexing, performance improvement methodologies etc
Should be able to write good technical documentation
Working knowledge of an enterprise scheduler is a MUST. CA Workload automation tools is a PLUS but any enterprise level tool is ok.
Working knowledge of Server architectures (ADM, Domain and Service accounts, Email settings etc) is a BIG PLUS.
Prior experience in application and data production support (at least a year) with varying responsibilities
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good verbal and written communications
Will be part of on-call rotation including weekends (once every 3 weeks for a week, he/she will be on-call)
Be flexible in working hours to work off hours
Be flexible to work with off shore team, as and when required
Should adjust to a fast paced and changing requirements environment

Working knowledge of Agile methodology is a PLUS
