Job Description
Responsiblities:
? Design, develop, and deliver education content related to Professional Fee and Physician Office environments with specific focus on coding/billing, physician coding, CPT coding, physician office reimbursement/payments, and physician office operations.
? Develop education content for both internal colleagues and external clients, in the areas of CPT procedural coding, Pro-Fee coding, Diagnostic coding concerning Medical Necessity, billing and charge master interfaces in relation to HCPCS code assignment, as well as all other coding disciplines.
? Incorporate ICD-10 concepts and content into the education of these populations and settings. This is a key knowledge requirement.
? Use PowerPoint and other eLearning authoring tools to generate unique, exciting, informative, and industry leading courses
? Facilitate training Webinars managing participants, content, and time
? Research highly-detailed and highly technical medical topics in the design process and translate this information into content the learner will understand and enjoy
? Incorporate ?real life? examples and case studies to achieve ?buy-in? from the learners
? Utilize adult learning methodology in the look, feel, and flow of content
? Interact with clients directly discussing content, needs, deliverables, and timeframes
? Design courses for physician-based training and education
? Work with Precyse University Team and Sales to develop new, marketable training programs within these settings
? Support existing clients with questions related to these topics and ICD-10
? Understand physician?s needs and areas where they may need assistance and training.
? Experience with working with physician in an education setting.
Skills:
? Strong Pro-Fee Coding and Physician Office background who is interested in educating others in these areas. Someone with strong writing and organizational skills and who can create content quickly and effectively
? Experience working in a coding, billing, and/or educating for the professional fee, professional billing, and physician office settings
? Experience interacting with internal or external clients in understanding their need and meeting their requirements
? Not afraid of a challenge, but rather is excited to take it on and create results
? Looking to educate others in an exciting, professional and unique way
? Willing to work extremely hard, but who enjoys the results of this work
? Ability to conduct training sessions in an informative, yet interactive and fun manner
? Doesn?t have an ego, willing to work as part of a TEAM, and who will become a dynamic member of the company
Requirements:
? Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
? 5+ years of direct or supervisory Coding experience and/or 5+ years of Pro-Fee and Physician Office experience
? 2+ years of Coding/Medical training and education development experience
? Preferred: RHIT/RHIA, CCS, CPC
? AHIMA Certified ICD-10 Trainer
? Advanced User of PowerPoint
