Professional Services Consultant FaceTime Communications
Actiance enables the safe and productive use of unified communications, collaboration, and Web 2.0, including blogs and social networking sites. Formerly FaceTime Communications, Actiance's award-winning platforms are used by 9 of the top 10 US banks and more than 1,600 organizations globally for the security, management, and compliance of unified communications, Web 2.0, and social media channels. Actiance supports all leading social networks, unified communications providers, and IM platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, AOL, Google, Yahoo!, Skype, Microsoft, IBM, and Cisco.
Responsibilities:
Post-sales consulting and training for Actiance customers and partners (90%)
Presales support of field sales team and reseller partners covering North America (10%)
Delivery of all phases of Actiance consulting engagements (requirements gathering, architecture review, integration specification, architecture design, documentation and services delivery)
Experience and Background:
Minimum 5 years of SE and/or consulting experience requiring extensive customer-facing responsibilities
Well rounded technical skills, comfortable in a hands-on environment using a broad set of skills and product knowledge
Industry technical experience in many of the following fields; Networking/TCP/IP, HTTP, Firewalls, Proxy servers, IDS/IPS, http/s, SOAP, SMTP, SNMP, Windows, Linux, Solaris, SQL, Oracle
Collaboration and Social media expertise with Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, IBM Connections, Microsoft Sharepoint and other similar platforms
Hands-On technical experience leading installations in regulated industries for companies with email archiving/DLP products like Proofpoint, ZL Technologies, Symantec (eVault), Vericept, Vontu, EMC, Jive, Yammer, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc. or some other email archiving, DLP, Collaboration and Social Media products
Hands-On technical experience leading installations in network security environments like Websense, Bluecoat, Cisco, Secure Computing, Checkpoint, Cisco or any vendor that sells URL Filtering, IDS, firewall or server-based anti-malware products
Excellent communication and written skills
Accustomed to communicating with different audiences discussing technical and business challenges, expectations and successes
Willingness to travel up to 70% during product installation phase
