We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Engagement Manager ("Engagement Manager?) to lead the process of aligning Netuitive?s technology to the customer?s business goals and objectives.
The Engagement Manager is responsible for the overall customer satisfaction of a portfolio of accounts, and is responsible for the lifecycle of each engagement, which includes scoping, planning, designing, deploying, and leading the operational adoption of Netuitive?s solutions in complex enterprise production environments. The engagement manager will coordinate customer interactions with other customer-facing organizations of sales, sales engineering and support.
The ideal candidate for this job will have 5-10+ years? experience managing large-scale IT enterprise initiatives from alignment through design, technical implementation, and operational adoption. Prior knowledge of performance monitoring is highly desirable. Candidates must be motivated team players with the ability to work in a hands-on, dynamic environment.
Primary Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to:
Conduct scoping workshops with prospects and help position Netuitive?s professional services methodology and offerings
Assess ?fit? and develop business cases aimed at strategic alignment
Define project governance models and create executive communication plans
Lead cross-functional teams by developing and detailing project plans, from solution architecture design through planning, deployment, and operational adoption
Interface with customers? project managers
Coordinate and maintain regular communications and update with customers? senior management
Gather Customer feedback on product improvement, review open issues, and propose enhancements that prevent customer from achieving business goals
Align deployment, training and operational adoption engagements while focusing on transitioning the customer to become a Center of Excellence
Provide technical leadership to consulting engineering resources to identify and validate performance data sources, define hardware requirements, configure core product and integrations, and create application maps
The ability to travel on an as-need basis is required
Expertise Required
Close understanding of IT operational processes including incident, problem, performance and capacity management
Strong technical acumen and aptitude applied in complex systems architectures
Working knowledge of XML, SQL, Java, scripting language
Proficient utilizing Windows and UNIX/Linux systems
Expert project management and project planning skills
Experience with a major monitoring tool and/or performance management system (e.g., BMC PATROL, NetIQ AppManager, CA Unicenter, IBM Tivoli, HP Openview, etc.)
Personal Qualifications
The candidate is required to have a College degree in a computer-related discipline. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate the following:
Independent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Advanced organizational skills
Hands-on development experience with dedication to quality and customer service.
Proven effectiveness in small team environments
Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work either independently, or in small teams, with minimal supervision.
