Job DescriptionThe primary function of the Professional Services Engineer is to implement the Actifio solutions in our customer?s environment. The candidate must have a strong technical aptitude and an organized, process driven work ethic they should have good communications skills and a track record for providing high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities/Key Task
Implementation of Proof of Concepts in a Pre-sales environment
Demonstrate features and benefits of our solutions
Develop technical action plans
Implementation of Actifio solutions in customer production environments
Troubleshoot issues working with support and engineering
Perform Knowledge transfer to customers on use and maintenance of the solution
Drive high customer satisfaction by ensuring our solutions meet benefits for the customer
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements/Qualification
5-7 years of Professional Service experience
Familiarity with backup and replication concepts
Experience with Linux and clustering technology
Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Exchange, SQL desirable
Strong verbal, written and inter-personal skills
Leadership qualities to drive customer solutions.
Desirable Skills
Understanding of SAN deployments
Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware
Ability to troubleshoot and solve customer issues independently
