The Professional Services Engineer (PSE) is responsible for the design, engineering and implementation of VBrick customer video streaming solutions. Other key duties associated with this position include project documentation, technical project management, customer training, technical systems support and course content development. This position reports to the Manager of Professional Services. This position has 50-75% travel. Some International travel may be required.

Responsibilities:
Lead resource for execution of customer projects associated with VBrick video streaming solutions.
Participate and/or lead the deployment project lifecycle elements, including planning, design, implementation, test and acceptance, documentation and training.
Participate in continual Professional Services process improvements and upgrades of tools, processes and documentation to optimize departmental efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Provide technical systems support, problem analysis and troubleshooting for VBrick direct sales force, end-users and resellers using VBrick hardware and software products.
Simulate customer systems when necessary in the Support Services Lab to verify solution design, implementation configuration, and/or customer issue duplication.
Develop training materials and packages for VBrick Resellers and customers.
Position Requirements:
Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent discipline
Minimum five years experience in IT infrastructure operational environment two years of which must be in customer facing professional services environment.
A minimum of two years experience with Windows based server systems, including web services, AD, and database systems.
Knowledge of Windows Media Services Administration, MS SQL and MySQL.
A minimum of two years experience of Networks including: LAN, WAN, 10/100/Gig Ethernet, Firewall, and TCP/IP.
Strong knowledge of standards, communications protocols including TCP/IP, network routers, and switches. Network hardware and software experience include equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Dell, 3Com, Foundry, Extreme.
Strong knowledge of PC and server based systems and applications such as Windows, MAC OS, Linux/Unix, LDAP, SMS, Windows Media Player, Real Player, Active-X, Direct Show, ASP and HTML.
Digital video, VOD, Wireless & other data related technologies experience preferred.
VPNs network security, and cabling infrastructure knowledge, a plus.
Strong customer communications skills.
Security clearance is desirable.
Experience in a Professional Services organization is a MUST.
