Professional Services Engineer Courion
The Professional Services Engineer is a member of the Courion's Professional Services organization, responsible for the implementation of customer enterprise Identity Management solutions using Courion's product suite. As a member of an implementation team, the Professional Services Engineer works closely with our Solutions Delivery Consultants (SDCs) to adhere to Courion best practices in the delivery of solutions.
Responsibilities:
The Professional Services Engineer serves as the technical interface between Courion and the customer, and is critical in assisting customer assigned administrators with knowledge transfer and overall product knowledge. The Professional Services Engineer utilizes a wide array of skills and technologies to accomplish implementation tasks and overall project objectives. Skills include enterprise software installation/configuration, scripting, macro/query writing, software troubleshooting/debugging, business analysis, and project management.
Qualifications
Prior experience deploying enterprise software systems in customer environments
Intermediate to expert level skills (2-5 years) in at least two of the following scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, or Perl)
Strong database query experience in a relational database environment (SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase)
Experience with Active Directory, Novell NDS, or LDAP
2-5 years developing web applications using HTML and ASP
Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer interaction skills
Exposure to XML and XSLT is highly desirable
Project management skills highly desirable
Must be able to travel up to 70% (primarily US and possibly WW)
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
