Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
Reporting to the Practice Lead of Cloud Operations, the Professional Services Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for the overall quality of all cloud applications and Bullhorn customizations. The QA Engineer will be expected to employ industry best practices to design and execute both manual and automated test plans as well as leading bug triages reported by customers during the user acceptance testing phase.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Developers, Solutions Architects and Project Managers to understand project requirements and participate in specification and design reviews
Apply industry best practices to create testing strategies that ensure highest level of quality for custom web applications
Take ownership of JIRA project documentation and ensure proper processes are followed
Deploy all applications to the Production environment
Key Position Requirements and Skills:
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
Must have 1+ years Quality Assurance experience
Must have knowledge of Functional Testing and Load Testing methods
Must have knowledge of Java, Spring, SQL Must have knowledge of web service technologies (SOAP, REST)
Must have strong understanding of Apache Tomcat Web Server
Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Must have demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions/suggestions
Must have ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Experience with testing software (JIRA) a plus
Experience with agile development methodologies a plus
