headquartered in the Redwood City, CA and, having just completed the acquisition of New Zealand-based Datasquirt, is now expanding the Auckland Professional Services development team.
This is a Senior .NET developer position, based in our offices in Redwood Shores, CA, USA. You will join our Professional Services
strong experience designing and building scalable RESTful web services APIs. You'll know nUnit inside out and expect to write tests first; because that's just the way you do things. HTML and CSS will not faze you, and you will be expected to be able to find your way around a Linux box too.
In this role you will collaborate with all LiveOps teams developing and supporting our services from Sales to Engineering to Professional Services to Operations. You will work with client in assessing requirements and designing solutions specific to their needs. You will also
help estimate development cost.
You should have at least 5 years experience developing and delivering robust, scalable web applications and services, and at least 8 years
of commercial development experience. Experience with the contact center industry is a plus. A degree in Computer Science from a reputable university is advantageous, although not a requirement.
LiveOps developers are expected to be passionate, enthusiastic, and most importantly take ownership of their work. You must have
good verbal and written communication skills and be able to express yourself confidently internally and externally.
We are a growing international company in the exciting Cloud on demand contact center space, and you will be a key contributor on our team
helping to further enable our rapid growth. You will report to the Integration Solutions, Professional Services manager, located in the US.
Responsibilities will include:
Team work with LiveOps departments: Sales, Engineering, Operations, Professional Services.
Assess client requirements and design technical solutions.
Manage technical implementations end to end, including as necessary programming, code review, documentation, testing, QA, training, hand off.
Contribute to the existing Professional Services offerings.
Contributing to the Professional Services team knowledge base on a regular basis.
Accounting for a minimum of forty hours per week through a time tracking system and for maximizing billable hours/utilization.
Proactively seeking to expand billable professional services work.
2+ years of experience working in external customer-facing roles including both SMB as well as large, complex enterprise customer.
5+ years experience developing web-based applications and a strong track record in lead developer roles.
8+ years commercial development experience.
Passionate about software development and building design-led software using a wide range of internet based technologies.
Ability to bring new ideas to the table, a passion for all things cloud and a willingness to go the extra mile.
A degree in Computer Science is an advantage.
