CombineNet is looking for a qualified and energetic individual to fill our Training Specialist position. This is a position in our Professional Services team which focuses on the customer support and satisfaction of all clients. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for technical training of new and current clients to help them become self-sufficient with our advanced sourcing application platform (ASAP). The Training Specialist will be required to deliver training courses to a diverse adult audience in both classroom and online environments, interact with internal teams such as Product Management, Account Management and Sales. In addition, the Training Specialist will assist the Professional Services training lead with other training and product support initiatives such as updates to technical training support documentation, development of new customer training offerings, and preparation activities related to upcoming product releases.Role Specific Responsibilities:
Deliver multiple trainings in both classroom and on-line training environments
Demonstrate proficiency with all aspects of ASAP to address a wide range of technical questions/ requests from ASAP users during training sessions.
Quickly master new product features and tools as they are rolled out by the organization
Assist with the creation and maintenance of training materials
Identify areas of improvement for course materials based on feedback during training sessions
Keep accurate notes and details on all customer training engagements and client requests
Ability to travel to domestic customer locations will be required (2 - 4 times per month)
Knowledge & Experience:
Basic understanding of the sourcing lifecycle and the use of ASAP at each phase of the process.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
2+ years of proven success delivering technical software training or teaching students about complex concepts
Experience delivering content in both online and classroom settings strongly preferred
Skills & Characteristics:
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Spanish language proficiency preferred
Excellent facilitation and communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose user issues identified during trainings
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly in written and verbal communications to CombineNet?s customers and their suppliers
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks in an environment that requires multi-tasking
Ability to follow through and execute on assignments in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
A self-starter and quick learner
Creative, detail-oriented, energetic
