Professor of Training & Development MindBody Software
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Professor of Training & Development is primarily responsible for developing and delivering MINDBODY?s Core New Hire Training. This includes consulting with other departments to develop effective presentations, as well as coaching and developing new team members. In addition, the Professor of Training and Development will assist with ongoing staff development projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and delivers Training for new staff. As needed, will create and deliver training for existing team members.
Develops and maintains teaching aids, such as handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, eLearning, tutorials, user guides, help files and other supporting and training materials.
Delivers training via on-site, telephone, eLearning or remote using webinar presentations.?
Assists in the coordination of the training, room logistics, equipment and materials.
Serves as a coach and mentor to new team members. Will address performance gaps and provide coaching. Provides performance feedback to direct supervisor.
Reviews and corrects the participants? completed work products.
Updates training curriculum to incorporate new software features, training concepts, policies and procedures.
Introduces new team members to the company culture through a variety of sources, such as, modeling positive behavior, encouraging interactions that foster collaboration and engagement, training on the software and company.
Seeks feedback and measures results to ensure all training classes are providing a positive ROI. Makes adjustments where necessary based on survey results.
Ensures consistent and repeatable training processes and programs.
Assists and enhances the demonstration call procedures; coordinates with Workforce Manager to schedule the calls.
Occasionally, will provide support on the Technical Support floor.
Able to chart a way forward even when the path is not clear.
Willing to challenge the status quo and generate innovative solutions to best meet the needs of the business.
Participates in department specific training with the intent of driving structured and consistent training processes.
Consults and partners with Subject Matter Experts to develop, implement, and support training curriculum and programs.
Provides consultative services and support to business partners.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree and 2 years? experience in mid-size organizations. Related training certification preferred.
Experience in Education and Instructional Design is desired.
Prior experience working within the software industry is preferred.
Experience with leadership or skill development training programs.
Experience with principles of adult learning, including latest developments and trends.
Needs analysis, design, development and delivery of blended learning activities.
Must have an excellent work ethic, be a strong team player and consistently meet project deadlines.
Possesses a positive and proactive attitude.?
Result-driven mentality and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Excellent presentation and writing skills.
Regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
Ability to read, listen, analyze, and accurately respond to team member and customer questions.
Knowledge of database and internet based software.
Familiar with intermediate functions using Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Standing and speaking for long periods of time; primarily while teaching class and conducting remote learning.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on an intermittent basis; approximately 3 ? 5 times a week.
Will sit at a desk and use a computer, monitor and keyboard frequently throughout the day.
Will need to regularly listen in person, by phone and webinars.
Light walking around the building daily is required.
Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time, comprehend, reason and analyze.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
There will be frequent interruptions.
The pace of work will ebb and flow.
