Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Research, build, maintain, and improve a robust program and database of industry-specific client and market demographics to support Underwriters

Help Underwriters synthesize and categorize key information for client presentations and team discussions

Communicate industry and client date via PowerPoint slides white papers, and other collateral to support sales and marketing objectives.

Support Underwriters in the delivery of successful submissions and provide analysis to brokers and Underwriters for sales discussions.

Analyze broker appointment submissions for completeness and accuracy and follow up to ensure complete information is compiled

Assist with broker management by pro-actively maintaining relationships and providing marketing and other service materials



Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

BA/BS Degree with one to three years of experience in marketing, business analysis or insurance preferred

General understanding of insurance legislation, rules, laws and other regulations.

Work experience in web analytics, market research, management consulting, marketing, finance, or other business.

Experience mapping with Google Earth strongly preferred

Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (notably Excel and PowerPoint).

Proactive, resourceful approach to solving problems and getting results.

Confident under pressure and able to build relationships.
