Program Coordinator:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing students with the universities institutional information, guidelines, policies and procedures regarding new and returning student enrollments, to include providing academic course requirements, course registration and timelines to complete all items regarding their degree program or course of study. The Program Coordinators are considered subject matter experts and trainers to new Student Advisors and assist with launching new programs as needed. The Program Coordinators will be accountable for ensuring that the highest level of student services, client, faculty and facilitator support is delivered. This position is responsible for the timely and effective communication with the Academic Partner regarding all aspects of the student's experience including the LMS, Financial Aid and Billing, the Library, the Registrar's office and others defined as related to the University services.
Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Guide students in regarding educational issues such as registration, course selection, course materials, class scheduling, school adjustment and study habits and planning.
Evaluate students? abilities, interests and personality characteristics in order to provide regular counseling and support activities.
Respond to students? requests for assistance within 24 business hours.
Contact each new student to conduct a Learning Preparedness Assessment or similar process, including leading new student welcome/orientation calls.
Communicate course information and required course materials to students to ensure preparedness well in advance of course start dates.
Assist in training new employees as needed to support the business.
Maintain accurate and complete student enrollment records as required by university governance, as well as all laws, policies and administrative regulations in order to keep accurate information in the CRM.
Meet or exceed student retention program metrics each term.
Prepare and develop all required retention business metric reports on enrolled students and report on retention activities as required.
Implement re-entry initiatives to bring inactive students back into the program.
Expresses student retention concerns to their manager or supervisor.

Reconcile student enrollment numbers and process invoices working with accounting
Plan and conduct Webinar information sessions and group conferences to promote the adjustment of students to their new life experience of preparing to start college.
Monitor and ensure timely web postings to their program student services web page.
Confer with faculty, program directors, campus counselors and administrators to help resolve students' academic and administrative problems.
Facilitate student requests for assistance such as contacting campus based facilitators or arranging for additional academic tutor training and referring students to the appropriate university services.
Attend all required internal and external professional meetings, telephone conferences and training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
Launch new programs as needed working with the Business Development team.
Monitor newly admitted students? progress on student orientation and activity in courses.
Conduct Mid-term follow up interview with students to determine if their university student services needs have been met.
Follow established communication guidelines and protocol and performs all tasks listed in the Student Support Timeline.
Follow all process and timeline expectations for data entry and data management in the CRM.
Maintain accurate and complete student enrollment records as required by university governance and all laws, policies and administrative regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree minimum, Masters Degree preferred
1-2 years previous Higher Education Administration or Student Services work experience desired
2 years previous customer service experience in a high volume corporate or call center environment
