PatientsLikeMe is looking for a talented and proven Program Director to lead key customer relationships. Someone who is data-driven and analytical at heart. Someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get deep into our data with customers. Someone who believes in the importance of delighting customers and in taking the time to teach them how to integrate and utilize our data to solve their challenges. And someone who believes strongly in the company we are building that puts patients front and center in healthcare. This pivotal position will report to the VP of Client Services at PatientsLikeMe.

PatientsLikeMe is a free online community for all patients with any life-changing condition. Members create profiles with detailed health data -- think treatments taken, symptoms experienced, diagnosis history and more -- and share those experiences with the entire community. The end result? Patients taking control of their own disease while helping other patients and contributing to research. Featured in New York Times Magazine, BusinessWeek, CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, and WIRED, the Cambridge-based company is a for-profit that's on the path of disrupting medicine by putting patients first.
Responsibilities:
Own relationships and interact directly with our customers in clinical, medical, discovery and outcomes research, data management, information technology, innovation and other functional areas
Help drive organizational change in terms of customers using real-world data
Drive the documentation, internal planning and management of projects that deliver research data or related services to our customers
Socialize project schedules, resource commitments and related project management components to all affected stakeholders, both internal and external
Ensure organizational commitments to customers ? specifically research data and related services ? are met on time with the quality our customers expect
Exceed customer expectations, as measured or perceived by our customers
Ensure repeat business by managing renewals and expanding into the existing accounts
Be accountable to senior PatientsLikeMe leadership for customer deliverables and satisfaction
Requirements:
Experience managing and building external relationships with customers
Experience managing large cross-functional teams
Project plan creation and management expertise
Clinical research experience a plus
Management consulting experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Team player with a proven ability to work cross-functionally
Self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit
Masters-level health sciences degree (MS, MPH, etc) or MBA
