Job DetailsThe Program Management Engineer?s goal is to ensure the day to day management and successful execution of R&D development programs. He/she will work with the program management team to drive one or more aspects of the program including all associated collateral, IP, systems and /or software and hardware. Duties include:
Work closely with engineering to manage the development process of the specific deliverables expected from their projects
Lead/facilitate cross functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
Drive and track development schedules; identify tradeoffs as needed, working with team to manage risks
Interface with various engineering groups to ensure the individual deliverables work together as an integrated product
Perform continuous Risk Management and elevate critical issues/risk appropriately and initiate corrective actions
Improve support for internal customers
Improve communication within the engineering organization
Experience, Skills, and Education Required
Bachelors degree or higher (engineering degree highly preferred)
Detailed knowledge of project management methodology, processes and tools (e.g. MS Project)
Ability to adopt and execute a structured working methodology
Detail and action oriented at the core of thought processes and behavior
Strong communication skills
Assertive personality, interpersonal and leadership skills
Self motivated and self driving
Strong team player with ability to work collaboratively among the best engineers and scientists in the industry and foster a team mentality amongst peers
Willingness and capability to learn advanced technologies
3-7years technical experience in a technology company (e.g. consumer electronics, semiconductor development, equipment development, etc)
