In this role you will be responsible for leading a cross functional team to deliver a coordinated, fully integrated and high quality product to system partners and end users. You will ensure that all committed product capabilities are fully enabled, that external partners are fully informed of product status and that any product issues are clearly identified and addressed. Qualified candidates will have a demonstrated track record of delivering innovative system solutions that include hardware and software components to large scale partners and end users. With your industry experience you will be expected to contribute to the program from day one.Responsibilities:
--Provide end-to-end project management throughout the life cycle of a program by coordinating the efforts of all necessary resources.
--Understand all aspects of the program and ask the right set of questions to bring out issues at each point in the program and their relative priorities.
--Create a dashboard for all the programs highlighting the top issues and work with cross functional team leads on the mitigation plans for each of them.
--Maintain full accountability for managing concurrent, highly complex programs that may span multiple regions, functions and/or business units.
--Maintain responsibility for detailed planning including program structure estimating, resource allocation and assignment, detailed scheduling, critical path analysis, consolidating project plans into an overall program plan, and negotiating any sequencing conflicts.
--Direct program activities utilizing the organization's standard processes to ensure the timely delivery of stated business benefits, comparing actual to plans and adjusting plans as necessary. Where processes have not yet been defined, create appropriate process models.
--Assess, plan for, and manage program risks including mitigation and contingency plans; manage issues, escalations and problem resolutions.
--Define program scope and ensure changes to scope and deliverables are managed using change control process.
--Deliver clear and complete communication and status regarding the progress of the program to both internal and external audiences.
--Utilize knowledge of business, industry and technology to incorporate business process.
Qualifications:
--Bachelors or Master degree in either EE, SW Eng or CompSci.
--Experience managing cross functional teams and being technically involved.
--At least 5 years of experience managing hardware, software, or silicon development efforts and a solid understanding of the processes, methodologies and product delivery.
--Technical knowledge in either Silicon or HW product development lifecycle and ability to ask the right questions to the cross functional team leads to identify issues.
--Solid understanding of project management techniques.
--Previous experience with PMO or system level architectures.
--Self motivated and driven to continuously improve personal and professional skills combined with openness to constructive feedback.
--Strong communication and documentation skills.
