Program Manager EM4

Description:

EM4 is seeking a talented Program Manager who will have a proven track record of managing complex programs to a timely and cost effective conclusion within the Defense, and Industrial/Life Science and Telecom industries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience, extensive industry knowledge and an established contact base from which to draw for both Suppliers and Customers. The position is headquartered out of the Bedford, MA office of EM4.

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of program execution to satisfy customer requirements and ensure EM4 profitability. Plan, monitor and manage in order to avoid specification shortfalls, budget overruns, schedule overruns and situations requiring emergency management. Anticipate problems and take timely actions to eliminate or mitigate.
Manage specification reviews and sign offs between EM4 and Customer. Make sure that the agreed upon specification meets the customer needs and can be achieved on time and with acceptable profitably by EM4.
Negotiate and agree upon statement of work (SOW) with customer to meet customer requirements and budget needs while ensuring profitability for EM4.
Principal contact for customers, link between EM4 Engineering, EM4 Operations, Finance, Management and the customer.
Create and execute plans to satisfy the Specification and SOW.
Make sure that the customer is satisfied while maintaining smooth and profitable operation within EM4.
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
Skills Required The candidate shall have solid engineering experience or education in one or more of the following disciplines: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, RF systems
Significant working knowledge of industry related guidelines such as FDA or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), contract administration, cost analysis, and program management.
Ability to travel as necessary.
Ability to communicate effectively with contacts at all levels within the company and with customers
Good organizational, time management and attention to detail skills.
Motivated team player with a positive attitude who can work independently.


Education and Experience BS or MS EE or equivalent plus a minimum of 5-10 years related to program management and/or engineering in positions of increasing responsibility within the industry.


Citizenship US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
