Duties:
Summary: Achieve assigned revenue targets by supporting sales activities and managing Cambric?s entire service offering to named and new accounts globally by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities;
Builds relationships with customer by understanding their business objectives through regular meetings with key counterparts in order to align our solutions to meet their needs and support the business development objectives of the organization.
Provides technical leads and engineers, including customer, onsite and offshore, with regular technical project reviews, reports, negotiation of schedules, scope and cost, allocation of resources, and management of budgets.
Manages Cambric?s team of on-site resources who are responsible for the day-to-day technical issues to ensure a quality and effective deliverable that meets the customer needs.
Provides direction to onsite resources to encourage and ensure the development of innovative solutions in order meet the customer requirements.
Works with customer to understand any quality or project-related issues and resolves appropriately in order to meet customer and business requirements.
Supports the RFP processes by engaging with the technical and business development areas of the business as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Responsible for all project activities and coordination from signed contract to delivery of product to customer on small to mid-size customer projects.
Analyze customer data, documents, and project requirements to create a Project Budget Analysis (PBA). Present to management for approval.
Analyze customer requirements and create project specifications for the production facility and customer. Maintain changes to the specification through project completion.
Maintain contract and specification documentation.
Develop and publish project status and progress reports for internal and client use.
Track project scope. Document and seek compensation for any out-of-scope activities or requests.
Coordinate and direct quality assurance procedures.
Coordinate and direct quality assurance procedures.
Maintain corporate data bases with project specific information.
Coordinate timely delivery of completed work to the customer.
Validate and approve the pro forma invoice and follow up with accounting.
Maintain project efficiency and address issues as they occur.
Provide sole contact for production site issues with the customer.
Respond to information request and forward them to the customer as required.
Coordinate the production process with the production facility to insure time, cost, and quality objectives are met.
Maintain clear communication with all parties concerned
Ensure projects are managed efficiently with clear objectives, proper authorizations and within company policies and procedures with appropriate resources to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
Work directly with client(s) to identify new business development opportunities and work with Sales and Marketing team to develop these opportunities.
Provide input and guidance during the RFP process including accurate scope definition and design specifications aligned with customer requirements, technical standards and project performance requirements.
Manage and provide technical consulting for a team of onsite engineer?s with product development projects in order to meet customer requirements.
Using Pro/E to complete parts creation, detailing and work with complex assemblies

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
In-depth expertise in engineering concepts and practical application in the following engineering disciplines: Tolerance Stack Analysis, Project Management, Heavy Equipment, BOM, FEA (linear and non-linear) mechanical design and manufacturing processes, cost reduction,
Tier-4, DFMA and Homologation, supplier collaboration/PPAP, risk management (APQP/DFMEA/DVP&R).
Expertise and hands-on experience with one or more of the following: structures (casting), engine design, transmission design, suspension / axle systems, mechanical components, GD&T.
Exceptional skills in project management principles and time management required. Thorough understanding of PMP principles and demonstrated ability to apply to engineering projects.
Minimum Bachelor?s degree (B.S.) from an accredited college or university - ME or EE considered.
Four to Eight year?s related experience and/or training with a solid knowledge of applicable products and principles; or a Master?s degree and three to five years related experience.
Two plus years prior experience managing small- to mid-size engineering projects
Expertise using Pro/E software modules is required minimum of 2000 hrs, Team Center, VisView, GD&T desired
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to converse on technical matters where there are differences of opinion in calm and collaborative way while being clear and concise
