Are you an experienced Program Manager who enjoys working closely with highly technical development teams to manage the overall development and delivery process of complex software systems? Do you enjoy developing highly scalable, high capacity systems and all aspects of the product development process? INRIX is seeking an exceptional Program Manager to own and manage key traffic data and services deliverables for our company. Primary Responsibilities:
Program manage development of new traffic data and service features running on enterprise systems.
Drive initiatives with high uptime requirements, from inception to production to maintenance, using the (often iterative) INRIX development process.
Provide requirements for features (?what?) and work with development to confirm the designs (?how?) meets the requirements.
Ensure solid designs are in place, existing patterns are followed when appropriate, and that no more risk than necessary being proposed.
Work with discipline owners make sure tasks are identified, dependencies understood, and manage on-time delivery of features.
Nurture and expand relationships with current and potential customers, as well as our product management team to ensure that the product under development meets or exceeds all requirements.
Coordinate with the operations team and data center when necessary.
Required Skillset:
Experience managing all aspects of the product development process, including detailed specifications, project schedules, customer and partner relationship management, all the way through product shipping or delivery to the web.
Specific experience in development of highly scalable, high capacity systems.
Ability to identify issues that must be considered in the development of large scale database and server systems with high performance requirements.
Understanding of an environment where customer deliver often drives decisions.
Strong desire to be a part of something brand new.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
5+ years experience in design and program management of components which run on large scale distributed applications and web services in a Windows Server environment including both Windows services and web services as both designer and developer (successfully shipping/deploying and maintaining these services is a key part of this qualification).
5+ years experience working on systems requiring sustaining and innovative engineering at the same time.
3+ years experience working directly with customers to negotiate integration points, solutions, and schedules to ensure customer and team are satisfied.
Demonstrated ability to step outside of core role when needed to help team deliver projects on-time to customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically and tactically.
Past experience as development or QA lead that moved to Program Management is a plus.
Background in map rendering, geocoding, route calculations, general cartography and coordinate mapping technologies is a plus.
Experience with probability and statistics is a plus.
Experience with automotive navigation and traffic reporting a plus.
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
