The Program Manager is comprised of two primary areas of responsibility; project specific and Department of Defense (DoD) compliance. The project specific responsibility includes oversight of multiple projects and Project Managers to ensure high quality and consistent design, adherence to job scope and cost goals, delivery timeliness and customer support requirements.
The DoD compliance responsibility includes being familiar with, monitoring and coordinating activities of all pertinent functions of the Company to ensure compliance with relevant DoD, DFAR and other regulations applicable to performing Government Single Source contracts. Regular reports with be prepared for TAS Energy management to ensure a high level of awareness and responsiveness to this business. Government compliance will include audits of work in process, asset tracking and site visits by DCAA.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Bachelor?s degree (minimum, advanced degree preferred) in Business, Finance or Engineering
DAR or DFAR training (preferred)
Ability to travel to domestic and international customer sites (required)
Ability to qualify for security clearance if required (preferred)

Manage multiple Project Managers
Maintain detailed awareness on progress of all projects including those in production, award and proposal stages.
Review manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and other progress schedules
Coordinate all Company functions for timely delivery of customer orders
Perform management level customer interface including responsibility for contractual deliverables, overall order execution, and insuring response to client requests
Maintain awareness of compliance requirements and inform affected departments on any changes and/or updates
Prepare or cause to be prepared any compliance documents required in performance of Contracts
Guide all departments in compliance requirements
Regularly audit all internal departments for compliance, and guide corrective action
Inform the Executive Team on any compliance issues for timely decisions
Communicate regularly with Gtherm/Tangible CFO to maintain communication regarding project status and compliance
Represent TAS Energy on DoD audit activities
Provide input to Task Order responses
Ability to provide financial oversight of contracts, management and forecasting
Experience working in complex environments
Managerial level experience in organizing, planning, directing and managing staff to ensure goals and objectives of the project are achieved within prescribed timeframes for projects of similar size and scope
Excellent communications and computer skills particularly in Word, Excel, Project, Power Point and Outlook
Project management skills
Ability to assess financial risk
Experience working with multiple levels within an organization
Managerial level experience in providing technical advice
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other engineering design software
Demonstrated success in coordinating functional and technical teams
Manufacturing and supply chain process familiarity
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 years working in a DoD contract environment with DAR or DFAR reporting requirements
Successfully managed a minimum of three (3) projects with DoD compliance requirements
5 years working with highly engineered products with long lead time components
Experience presenting to senior management
Participated in an ERP implementation
10+ years working in a DoD contract environment with DAR or DFAR reporting requirements
15 years working with highly engineered products with long lead time components
Direct involvement in IFS system implementation for DoD business segment
Experience presenting to government officials
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
