Position Summary:
DSC?s Program Managers/Embedded Analysts thrive in solving the most challenging problems our customers have to offer. Working closely with our Forward Deployed Engineers, PM/Embedded Analysts lead complex enterprise deployments of DSC?s software, hardware and tools, and will do everything it takes to be successful: prove the value of the solution against nebulous problems with disparate data and stovepipe systems under tight time constraints, prioritize and manage multiple projects while navigating complex political situations, and look for ways to grow DSC?s impact with our existing customers and beyond. As a PM/Embedded Analyst, you are capable of handling senior executives in the morning and getting in the weeds with analysts and engineers in the afternoon?without breaking a sweat!
Responsibilities:
Plan thoroughly, avoid meetings, work hard, and eliminate problems
Work on the critical analytical, technical, and operational challenges facing our customers
Drive user adoption across a variety of use cases
Meet with prospective customers, intimately understand requirements, demonstrate DSC capabilities, and capture strategically interesting opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated success as part of and leading technical projects
Technical know-how (software or database experience a plus) and aptitude
Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical personnel from everyday engineers through the leadership ranks
Ability to travel at least 25% and up to 75% of the time
Candidate must meet eligibility requirements for a security clearance by the U.S. Government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
Desired Qualifications:
BA/BS (MA/MS preferred) from a top university in Engineering, Computer Science or Sciences
3-5 years related experience with biometric systems, software or solutions
Experience in a highly analytical role preferred
Knowledge of, and experience with, analytical tools, databases, and tradecraft preferred
Physical Requirements:.
Frequently required to use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, etc.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and use of computer monitor screens.
Ability to travel, utilizing varying modes of transportation.
Work Environment:
This position requires an individual who is flexible and capable of dealing with sudden changes (e.g.? flight delays, clients schedule etc.?).?
