The Evenflo Program Manager is responsible to plan, direct and coordinate activities for all new product launch (NPL) and key strategic projects that are critical to the success of Evenflo. This involves analyzing complex business problems, formulating reliable options and developing a recommendation for a solution and to ensure that the goals and objectives of the project are met within the required timeframe and budgetary constraints. The Program Manager is responsible to develop a systemized approach to program management and guide cross-functional teams in the use of the process and tools. The program manager is responsible for 7-10+ projects at a given point in time, covering products in feeding, car seats, and baby gear categories.
Examples of Key Activities:
Formulate feasibility analyses regarding the viability of various processes and/or programs.
Identify suitable strategies for product improvements, cost reductions and the introduction of new products. This includes the identification of new technologies and equipment.
Collaborate with the category leaders to create project proposals and project plans to determine the critical path, budgetary requirements, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project.
Work seamlessly across functions to get full support and ownership for program management initiatives.
Collaborate with Evenflo teams to outline the project plan and to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
Direct and coordinate project activities to ensure that project progress is on schedule.
Coordinate the integration of new acquisitions.
Confirm that all elements are considered and sequenced appropriately.
Facilitate design control that requires FDA regulating.
Facilitate key milestone tasks and compile related documents, to include design reviews and capital appropriations requests.
Perform detailed planning, tracking and reporting of new SKU launches.
Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering highly preferred.
Require a minimum of 5-10 years program management experience in new product development.
Consumer durable product experience required. Ideal would be juvenile products; other products would include toys, small appliances, and small consumer products. Prefer experience with plastics, injection molding, and stamping.
Must understand the demands required to manage 7-10+ projects with short, consumer development cycles.
Must have experience with compliance and regulatory issues.
New product development must include cross-functional relationships.
Must have experience managing resources in Asia, as part of total program management responsibilities. Prior travel to Asia is a plus.
Must understand financial aspects of project management and program priorities.
