About the Job
We are currently seeking a Program Manager for Nexant?s global Process Evaluation/Research Planning (PERP) subscriber program. The position has overall global responsibility for the financial performance, marketing, project management and commercial development of the PERP program. The candidate will work alongside the existing successful team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Meet or exceed annual sales targets for PERP program through a combination of ensuring customer satisfaction leading to repeat subscriptions and marketing to drive new sales of subscriptions
Meet or exceed annual revenue targets for PERP by ensuring delivery of reports and services to meet commitments
Meet or exceed the annual profitability targets for PERP through achieving revenue targets and managing the costs of marketing, researching, analyzing, writing, editing and delivering the program
Ensure the development, capture and management of, and access to petroleum and petrochemical market and technoeconomic intellectual capital for use by PERP, other programs and Nexant Consulting
Manage, motivate and develop the PERP delivery team
Undertake periodic strategy reviews of the PERP program, present to Nexant Consulting senior management and implement agreed strategy
Undertake annual business plan reviews and produce the appropriate marketing and sales plans, product development plans, resource plans, etc.
Undertake periodic product development reviews to ensure product and website delivery meet the strategic direction and needs of clients
Qualifications
Primary and higher degree (Masters, PhD, MBA) in a subject relevant to the energy industry (for example engineering, chemistry, economics)
Significant experience running multi-subscriber market/technical services in the
energy, chemicals, materials sector
Minimum of 15-20 years experience within the industry with a specific technical and/or commercial focus in the petroleum and petrochemical sectors
Excellent presentation and confident report writing and editing skills
Demonstrable leadership and project management skills
Experience of delivering multi-subscriber programs on budget and schedule
Positive and flexible attitude
Excellent verbal communication skills in English
Diplomatic in meeting and working with people, good cultural awareness
IT skills including word processing, advanced knowledge of Excel, and use of
databases
Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities
